Habitat Film Festival 2018
The 13th Habitat Film Festival organised by Habitat Film Club will commence on 17th May 2018 at India Habitat Centre, New Delhi. The festival hosts a handpicked selection of the best of Indian Cinema 2017-2018, a pan Indian sweep of award winning and critically acclaimed films that showcase the dynamic and changing face of contemporary Indian Cinema. This year the festival features K G George Retrospective, Shashi Kapoor Tribute screenings and Sridevi Tribute screening. The opening film will be Drishtikone (Bengali) by Kaushik Ganguly.



The Hungry (Hindi/Eng) by Bornila Chatterjee, Carbon (Malayalam) directed by Venu ISC, Village Rockstars (Assamese) by Rima Das, Vikram Vedha (Tamil) by Pushkar-Gayathri, Aswadakan: The Connoisseur (Malayalam/Sanskrit) by Suraj Varma, , Reservation (Kannada) by Nikhil Manjoo, Idak: The Goat (Marathi) by Deepak Gawade, Raju (Kannada) by Nanditha Yadav, Teen Aur Aadha (Hindi/Gujarati/Eng) by Dar Gai, Walking With The Wind (Ladakhi) by Praveen Morchale and NANA- A Tale of Us (Nagamese) by Tiakumzuk Aier – are some of the films screened during these days.

Habitat Film Festival 2018 will conclude on 27th May with the closing film Ee. Maa. Yove (Malayalam) directed by Lijo Jose Pellissery. Master Classes with eminent personalities in the field of art & culture, and various event are also organised as part of the festival.
